A Special Message From Night Owl's Publisher
1. Thank you very much for your support. It is our view that
Shareware constitutes a viable, low cost alternative to many of the IBM
PC/XT/AT family commercial programs. Its greatest strength is that you
get to try it before you buy it. No hassles in obtaining a return
authorization or from a store manager. We also believe that Shareware
is maturing as a product distribution concept and that its general
quality and functionality is improving at a rapid rate. This could only
happen because users, like yourself, are supporting Shareware products
by remitting their registrations when they find a product useful enough
to keep.
2. You should know that the Shareware programs on your Night Owl CD
come from some of the most skilled Shareware authors in the country.
And we at Night Owl want to point out that the long, tedious hours
that these authors have devoted to designing and devoloping their
high quality Shareware products is worthy of compensation.
3. Your support is important and is greatly appreciated by the
authors. With it, Shareware authors are encouraged to design and
distribute new products. Without it, a great deal of high quality, low
cost software will cease to be available as an alternative to commercial
software.
4. We hope some of the Shareware on our CD-ROM becomes a useful and
productive element of your system and we urge you to consider other
Shareware products when you decide to add software to your system.
Please, register the Shareware that you use. It's the right thing to
do!
5. Shareware is an exciting method which allows you to try top-quality
software before you pay the author. With Shareware, you cannot be
disappointed spending money for a program that's not right for you.
The small fee you pay to us covers only the duplication and distribution
costs, and permits you to evaluate the program.
6. If you continue to use the program, you must send the author an
additional payment which may entitle you to technical support, printed
manual, bonus programs, and more. Your payment supports authors, allowing
them to continue writing newer and better Shareware programs.
